Great Italian dishes. Tastes authentic and homemade, rather than mass manufactured. Great atmosphere with lots of exposed brick and soft lighting. Server was attentive and friendly without being too pushy or needy. I though the prices were reasonable. Convenient and not too far off interstate.
The food is great and a very good price. A few of the options are not the best, such as the spaghetti or BBQ pizza, but overall very tasty!
For a restaurant that we have always really enjoyed, it's very disappointing to have such an experience within the first 5 minutes of walking inside. Some changes definitely need to be made.
I've been here several times with family. It's their go to place after special events, so we decided to eat here again after one of our family member's graduation. I've never experienced issues before, but it seems that some new people have been hired. The very least I can say is that the management has made some poor decisions regarding who he hires and what type of manager he chooses to be. Hostess was less than agreeable and very obviously unhappy to be dealing with any problem as small as seating a larger group. Then when asked to speak with a manager, the hostess just said he was unavailable. We asked the other hostess to please get a manager and like the other employee, instead of going to the back and checking, she said the manager could not come out and speak with us.
It took two more times of us (now firmly) asking to speak with the manager, for one of the hostesses to go get him and for the manager to come out.
As a young adult myself, I'm greatly disappointed in the demeanor and actions of the two hostesses. I may look young but I do not act as such -- sarcastic, immature, nor naive. The one hostess was very abrupt with us and disrespectful to the adults in my family. Two things are obvious. One, the manager didn't want to be bothered so he left the reputation and first impression of the restaurant in the hands of people who haven't even take 2 semesters of college. And two, the (newer) staff have some attitude problems.
Haven't been here until last night, and I'm sad that I've been missing out! They were crazy busy for the Tech event, but our server was so helpful, fast, and friendly! Food was absolutely delicious (I had lobster ravioli) and drink specials were a happy bonus! Definitely going to start giving these guys my business regularly!
Like, the was pretty good and the food was tasty enough. But if I had to complain, I say that the atmosphere doesn't match the price and the portions are relatively small. The complimentary bread which is surprisingly good mostly resolves the portion issue so overall I'd say it was worth it.
