This is by far the best motel 6 ive been to.. RACHEL was so helpful and understanding.. she is the best if you have any problems she will take care of it the best way she can.. thank you so much for this wonderful experiance
The only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is some of the comforters (in the non smoking rooms) have cigarette burns in them and some of the pillows are rock hard.
The rooms are clean and smell good. We really like the tile floors because you don't wonder what may be in carpet that can't be seen.
The shower is nice and big and has abundance of good hot water.
Still all in all, a great place to stay. Pretty quiet and near a lot of places you would want to go while in Ruston.
My room had been updated recently. The only problem I really had was the curtain on the window did not close easily. The room did smell a little moldy/smoky but nothing I couldn't deal with. It was the cheapest room in the area and since my son is starting school at Tech soon and I'm on a really tight budget, I'll definitely be back. A discount or stay x # of nights and get a free night would be nice.
It was ok...I smelled cigarette smoke in a non smoking room & I'm allergic to it.
The rooms we have stayed in have had microwave and fridge so even though they don't offer breakfast; we bring our own food and have everything we need.
Remember the commercials "We will leave the light on for you" ironically we were here without power for more than 4 hours after arriving at 7pm no power until almost midnight. Hot muggy August night with no air conditioner, no lights or no working fire alarms in the entire building. They closed the office and locked the doors. Now we are stuck here can't leave or go out of your door because now the keys will not work as well. Can't open your window because it doesn't have screens to keep the mosquitoes out. It was absolutely miserable and when we checked out that morning nothing was discounted, she actually said hope enjoyed your stay with us.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and eager to make your stay pleasant. We have stayed here numerous times over the past 3 months and will definitely be back for return visit.
